with its glass balustraded staircase.

MPlanning permission exists for the construction of a double garage.

ARJAM House is a modern and stunning house that beautifully combines luxurious living space with facilities more usually found in a spa. Predominantly open-plan in layout, there are a number of defined “zones” over three floors.

Open wooden stairs lead to the first-floor landing, where there are lovely views of St Mary’s Church opposite.

In the kitchen, finished to an exemplary standard, are integrated Neff appliances and a central island, while the main dining room has a vaulted ceiling.

Add to that its stunning, contemporary design and location in coveted Leigh Woods, and the result is something quite special. On the first floor are the master and guest suites, as well as two further double bedrooms and a bathroom.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a living room leading into the drawing room, which is curved and cleverly designed with a slightly lower level and a view of the rear garden.

The owners wanted to create both a functional family house as well as a contemporary statement, which they have certainly achieved, using a contrasting mixture of wooden and tiled floors, extensive glazing and simple white decor. The master suite has two walk-in dressing areas as well as a well designed bathroom space (to be finished by the new owners). The guest suite also has a walk-in dressing room and a large wet-room.

There is also space for a wood-burning stove.

The entire south-facing aspect has bi-folding doors and an outlook over the pool and garden.

By 1822 America had it’s first gemstone mine. It is hard to imagine another gem being so right to represent the avent of America’s love of gem hunting.

A Recipe for Dealing with Life’s Little Realities: “Customers First”

Orange County Business Journal, May 21-May 27, 2007

In life, there are certain realities we just have to accept. We’ll all have a bad hair day now and then, we’ll never really understand our parents’ choice of music and, eventually, we’ll try a healthy recipe and really hate it.

Managing money is another of life’s necessities – but, there’s good news here. Community banks like PFF Bank & Trust specialize in helping consumers and business owners.

Managing money, for young and old, is a lot easier when selecting a bank that is local and community-focused like PFF Bank & Trust. Here are the ingredients to a successful banking relationship:

A complete range of options that meet financial needs for every phase of life – young saver accounts, checking plans, equity and home loans, and Certificates of Deposits that can make your money multiply faster than a pet rabbit.

For business owners, cash management tools and SBA loans as well as commercial and construction loans that literally help build a business.

When all that money won’t fit in that old cracked piggy bank anymore, a complete array of wealth management options, including retirement plan accounts, estate and trust services, and investment programs.

And the most important ingredient at PFF – a service approach many large, out-of-state banks simply can’t provide is described in two simple words – “Customers First.” And that’s a healthy recipe many just can’t get enough of.

PFF Bank & Trust, headquartered in the Inland Empire, enjoys more than a century of service to local communities

The archiving of mails

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:36 am

The archiving of mails was quite Ok! but I was not completely impressed. The provision to revert back from archive was very thoughtful.

Here is a list of features, I felt was useful:

* Automatic additions to contacts.

* Auto storing of sent mails was good. ( In yahoo you need to check a dumb checkbox!)

* Messages when no mails are there, are amusing “Hooray, no spam here!” etc…

* Automatic search results when we create filters was impressive. 8-)
* Keyboard short cuts are cool!

* Delete account info is thoughtful, this is something I have cursed some mail providers for not having! Having it just gives you that sense of freedom,to break free from something :-)

* Actual message along with the subject is pretty useful

Some drawbacks:

* Initial loading time is slow

* No support for draft mails ( now they are supporting drafts of mails)

* Delete options is hidden under more options (two costly web clicks… yuk!)

* Some javascript errors (harmless, I guess, as all the actions performed seemed to work)

It is the truest type

It is the truest type of buzz campaign ? a campaign that gets people talking about a company?s ads and products.

Don?t Worry If You Offend People!

As I said before, no business advertises itself simply wanting to offend people and expects their ads to get published. However, the chance you offend someone with a humorous ad is definitely out there. But, you know what? That?s good. Not everyone is going to love you or your sense of humor.

We can take our above example and combine it with the general rule of thumb that a satisfied customer will tell 1-3 people and a dissatisfied customer will tell 10 or more people. If you failed arithmetic in elementary school then please do not read on…

Let?s say you?re offending 10% of the people with the humor you use in your ad.

Storage enjoys record increase

0 Comments | Western Daily Press, Sep 1, 2010

Self-storage group Safestore said a rise in the number of homeowners selling up before they buy a new property had driven a record jump in lettings.

The company said it was pleased with the increase in enquiries from domestic customers, along with demand from businesses.

The firm said space let in the three months to July was 26 per cent up on last year, while revenue was up 9 per cent on the same period at Pounds 22.9 million.

The company, which has 117 stores in the UK and Paris, said it had seen good levels of new lets and enquiries.

Occupancy is now at its highest ever level at 2.98 million square feet – boosted by an increase in the number of people selling their homes before purchased another. Safestore chief executive Steve Williams said he was confident for the rest of the financial year, despite the fourth quarter being traditionally weaker as students return to university.

He said: “The economic environment remains challenging for the sector. Nevertheless, Safestore is the market leader with a well established diversification and low cost business model.”

Stay away from shag styles, buyers know

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:53 am

Stay away from shag styles, buyers know it won’t be around long in style cycles.

-Streamline window fashions. Heavy drapes are in the minority. Think “let the light shine in” when placing placing blinds and shades. Light and bright can overcome other issues with home.

-Freshen-up closets with closet organizers to maximize storage space and paint a neutral washable color. Make sure buyers can see the back of all closets and cupboards. Lighting is often overlooked feature in closets, but buyers will always turn on lights when viewing a closet, big or small. Thinning closets, cabinets, basements, attics and garages will also help your storage spaces look larger. If you can’t part with items, rent a storage locker to hold items for decision making later.

-Don’t forget the basement, dark, dirty and musty basements are a turn-off to buyers. Add extra lighting, paint the floor and vacuum out all the cobwebs. Organize storage areas and take the time to clean the washing machine and dryer. To spruce up the hot water heater and furnace, wipe down with a strong cleaner. Scrub the laundry tub and sweep left-over leaves out of exterior stairs and window wells.

When you understand the

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:12 am

When you understand the concepts of pitch, melody, harmony, rhythm, and articulation, you will be well on your way to expressing your opinions about music.

? Pitch: Simply put, when you say a sound is high or low, you are describing the pitch. Each note in music is a pitch defined.

? Melody: You could think of a melody something you hum. A melody is a series of notes played in succession. This is sometimes called the “horizontal” part of music, in reference to written notes on a scale.

? Harmony: Harmony is what happens when multiple notes are played simultaneously. This is sometimes called the “horizontal” part of music. The combined sound adds depth to the melody. “Chords” consist of three or more notes played simultaneously, with each chord named for notes.

? Rhythm: Most Western music relies on an even beat beneath the music.

Most of the no-bake recipes rely on some sort of gelatin to thicken the mix, or they mix in whipped cream to try to mimic the texture of the baked product. While both options produce a generally edible end product, in the immortal words of Snoopy there are like “giving a starving dog a rubber bone.”

If you are going to cook a great meal, and put a lot of effort into it, why go cheap on your dessert? Putting forth the effort to follow a baked cheesecake recipe is worth it every time.
